Mrs. Druzella Hallett, 79, died at 6:30 o'clock Thursday morning, after a three months' illness at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Keller, two and a one-half miles northwest of Byron. Mrs. Hallett was born Sept. 9, 1869, near Clinton, the daughter of Aaron and Lucy Ann Hall Skimmerhorn. Mrs. Hallett's husband, Harvey P. Hallett, died May 7, 1914. She is survived by one son and three daughters, Bert Hallett; Mrs. Faye Keller at whose home she died; Mrs. Wandaline Martin of Rockville and Mrs. Mary Beaman of Crawfordsville. A sister, Mrs. Etta Coker of Rosedale and a half-brother Humphrey Skimmerhorn of Okalahome, also survived by 12 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. In addition to the husband, one son and three daughters preceded Mrs. Hallett in death. She was a member of the Freedom Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at the church at 2 o'clock in the afternoon with burial in Old Union cemetery near Waveland. The body will lie in state at the church one hour before the services. Friends may call at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Keller after noon Friday. - kbz
